Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NUMed)
The 13-acre NUMed campus was completed in May 2011 and opened by Prince Andrew on 1st November. Newcastle Medical School has consistently ranked as one of the top medical schools in the UK. NUMed is Newcastle University’s first branch campus abroad, offering undergraduate degrees in Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, as well as opportunities for postgraduate study.
Marlborough College Malaysia (MCM)
Founded in 1843, Marlborough College is one of the premier independent co-educational boarding schools in the UK. On a 90 acre site, MCM has opened on 27th August 2012, offering independent boarding and day school education for pupils from ages 5 to 18. Its mission is “to encourage children to explore, through compassion, companionship and conversation.”
University of Southampton Malaysia Campus (USMC)
This is the first International campus for the University of Southampton, which has been ranked Number One for Mechanical Engineering Studies in the UK by The Guardian University Guide for the last three years and has a global reputation for excellence in education and research.
Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology (NMIT)
NMIT is already in operation with students ready to move in as soon as their EduCity™ facility is completed. NMIT specialises in maritime education and providing solutions to the maritime industry within the region with its unique collaboration with two maritime institutes which are amongst the most reputable and oldest in Europe, Maritiem Instituut Willem Barrentz and Maritiem Instituut de Ruyter.
University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM)
The University of Reading Malaysia’s brand new campus in Iskandar Malaysia is expected to be completed in September 2014, with an initial intake of 500 students and long-term numbers of about 2,000. Undergraduate and postgraduate degrees are being developed to include programs within real estate, construction, finance, law, chemistry and pharmacy.
Raffles University Iskandar (RUI)
RUI, set up by Asia Pacific’s largest private education group, Raffles Education Corporation, has the largest campus within EduCity™ occupying 65 acres of land. This multi-faculty university will be offering comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate programs in art and design, business, education and social sciences, and infocomm technology.
Multimedia University (MMU)
MMU will offer a Cinematic Arts Degree at MMU’s new campus at EduCity™. The course will be delivered in collaboration with the world renowned film school, the school of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California (USC). This course which entails a “script to screen” approach is designed to enable students to explore a range of cinematic arts from an Asian-World-Wide perspective and learn the skills necessary to become cinematic content creators and well-prepared specialists in their chosen cinematic arts field.
Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS)
MDIS the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) is expected to open in 2015, offering courses in Business, Mass Communication and Digital Media, Information Technology, and Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Raffles American School (RAS)
RAS will serve students Pre-K-12, focusing on an America style curriculum which culminates in Advanced Placement Studies (AP). Students’ success will be facilitated through collaboration with parents, a balanced focus on intellectual, emotional, physical, and social progress and a profound belief that all students can learn. Projected completion of main campus is August 2014, meanwhile RAS serve students from grades 1-8 in a temporary location in Anjung Center.
Johan Cruyff Institute Malaysia (JCIM)
JCIM, the Johan Cryuff Institute Malaysia is expected to open in 2014, offering sports programs including Online International Master of Sports Management (e-MISM), Online Football Management Degree (FMD) and Sport Business Fundamental Online Program (SBF).
